A community that is aware of wildlife conservation, protecting the endangered animals with better livelihood.

We envision a future where Tanzania’s endangered wildlife thrives in natural habitats, supported by local communities that recognize the intrinsic value of biodiversity.

Our approach involves comprehensive community outreach programs aimed at fostering a sense of guardianship over local wildlife, thereby enhancing the coexistence of humans and nature.

OUR MISSION

Support community development at wild life/endangered animals protection, preservation and improving their livelihood through empowerment, advocacy and participation.

At ESCF, our primary goal is to conduct comprehensive research, conservation efforts, and protective measures for endangered species.

We firmly believe that the survival of these species is not just a matter of ecological importance but also a cultural necessity, vital for maintaining the natural balance and heritage that enriches our Country.

We recognize that many endangered species, such as Rhinos and Elephants, are under threat from poaching, habitat destruction, and climate change.

Our organization aims to mitigate these threats through various strategic initiatives, including wildlife protection, community engagement, and environmental education.

Our Activities

Research and Monitoring

Community Engagement

We provide technical support for scientific research related to wildlife populations and their habitats, ensuring that our conservation strategies are based on solid data and field observations.

This includes collaborating with local and international partners to analyze demographic trends, monitor endangered species, and assess ecosystem health.

Wildlife Protection and Law Enforcement

Recognizing that local communities are essential to conservation, we engage with them to promote sustainable land-use practices.

Our community initiatives include education programs that raise awareness about the importance of protecting endangered species and developing alternative livelihoods that reduce dependency on poaching and resource exploitation.

We actively participate in anti-poaching efforts, working closely with game rangers and law enforcement agencies to curb wildlife trafficking and illegal hunting activities.

Through strategic partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organizations, we strive to strengthen the legal framework that protects endangered species and their habitats.

Sustainable Tourism

Promoting responsible tourism is central to our conservation strategy.

By creating sustainable tourism opportunities, we aim to generate revenue that can be reinvested in conservation efforts and local community development.

We believe that tourism can be an engine for positive change when it is managed thoughtfully and sustainably.
