Day Trip-Mkomazi national park

Mkomazi National Park is located in northeastern Tanzania, near the border with Kenya. Established in 1989, the park covers an area of approximately 3,245 square kilometers (1,250 square miles) and is known for its rich biodiversity and diverse landscapes, which include savannahs, acacia woodlands, and mountainous areas.

The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a significant population of black rhinos, which are part of a conservation effort to protect this endangered species. It also features a variety of bird species, making it a great destination for birdwatchers.

Early Morning: 7:00 AM - Depart from Moshi to Mkomazi National Park (approximately 2-hour drive).

9:00 AM - Arrive at Mkomazi National Park and start an early morning game drive, focusing on spotting wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, and various bird species.

Midday: 12:00 PM - Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by nature, while reflecting on the wildlife seen.
